The Wilderness of Your Intuition - A Quote by Alan Alda

You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. Alan Alda. Circle of Daydreams. www.circleofdaydreams.com

When I first saw this quote, I fell instantly in love with it. Then I looked at who'd said it, and raised my eyebrows in surprise.

Alan Alda - the well regarded actor of various movies and the TV series M.A.S.H (which had a huge fan base, but was never a show I particularly liked).

It made me curious, as way too many things do! I did a bit of reading about Alan Alda, read some more quotes, and decided he's quite fascinating.

I like him!

Anyone who's written a book called 'Never Have Your Dog Stuffed: and Other Things I've Learned', and a memoir titled 'Things I Overheard While Talking To Myself,' peaks my interest.

He may even make it to my list of 'people you'd like to have around your dinner table' (if you could have anyone).

Now that's saying something.

Because I adore the quote so much, here it is in several versions.

'You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself.' Alan Alda. Circle of Daydreams
You have to give up the city of your comfort. Alan Alda quote. Circle of Daydreams. www.circleofdaydreams.com
'You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself.' Alan Alda. Cicle of Daydreams.

I've been working on strengthening and trusting my intuition for many years now, and getting out of my comfort zone is another current area of focus. I found this quote striking a deep chord with my inner work and mindset.

Do you like it?
