A few nights ago I was bogged down with work for my day job, and needed a little brain/creativity break.
So, I made up this little booklet of wise words (mainly my own - so take them with a grain of salt), and enjoyed getting lost in a little bubble of choosing images, placing words, and fiddling with fonts.
This sort of stuff relaxes me and lets me zone out for a little while... forgetting everything else.
Then, a bit more work, a nice cup of tea, and an earlier than usual night in bed was called for.
A little self care and compassion.
