The Privilege of This Life...

From one of my favourite quoticians (I just made that word up to represent people who write lots of amazing and inspiring quotes), comes these wise words...

The privilege of this life is being who you really are. Joseph Campbell. Circle of Daydreams. www.circleofdaydreams.com

Doesn't it follow then, that you owe it to yourself to let the real you shine out whenever, and wherever possible?

To decorate your rooms as a celebration of who you are and all that you love?

To feel free within your own home, to feel grateful for the person you are, and run rampant expressing your innermost joy and heartfelt emotions as you wish?

To validate the person you are by paying homage to the privilege of being YOU?

To express yourself in your dress and style they way you really want to?

To use your talents and gifts in a manner that respects their value and your worthiness?

To listen to your innermost whispers and trust your intuition?

What's holding you back?

Anything?

The Dreaminess of Lao Tzu + A Collection of Printables For You

I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These are your greatest treasures. Lao Tzu. Circle of Daydreams. www.circleofdaydreams.com

Along with Rumi, Lao Tzu is one of my favourite people to quote.

I find his words to be soothing, affirming, and comforting.

A lot of my inner growth over the last few years has focused on growing my ability to 'let go' of harmful thoughts, worries, or anxieties where relevant.

The 'serenity prayer' has been an endless and constant help in this. Lao Tzu's quotes also pull me to the side of contentment, inner awareness and self soothing.

When I get fixated on things beyond my control, or worry about things yet to come, these insightful words draw me back to the simplest way through.

The quotes below are part of an anthology of Lao Tzu's quotes I've put together (13 printables in all). Perfect for displaying on your wall anywhere you need support, or using on inspiration boards.

You can download them in PDF form at the bottom of this post.

I hope these ancient words of wisdom offer you something that strikes a chord today.

Wishing you simple peace and hope.
