This is a site for grownups, but I have numerous pictures of children and animals scattered around wherever I can include them.

Imagery for me is a strong talisman and catalyst for the way I want to feel and think. It helps form connections with the things I want to focus on and keep developing.

My childhood was such a carefree, simple, sweet time. I lived in the country and roamed where I wanted, almost when I wanted. Grassy hills, serene lakes, fields of golden wheat.... I saw them all on my bike adventures with my dog's pattering footfalls beside me.

It's a time still resting inside the core of me as a beautiful memory and a safe haven of feelings and emotions. If I rummage around my reminiscences, I find them soothing and comforting.

These feelings encompass the sort of vibe I try to create in my home, and around here. And because of this, I choose images with the intent of activating these joyful thoughts. Plus, I believe it's vital we still listen to that inner child in all of us, and try to nurture her as well as we can.

Never forget that once upon a time, in an unguarded moment, you recognized yourself as a friend. Elizabeth Gilbert. Circle of Daydreams.

For some, their childhood was not like mine at all. It may have been full of neglect, or even worse things. Spattered with memories not so pleasant as mine. Littered with feelings of sadness and self doubt.

For you, I hope this site encourages you to search for that young girl who hoped but didn't receive, or wished but never found what she needed, and to give her the love and devotion she deserved back then.

It's her time now.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood. Tim Robbins. Circle of Daydreams.

By caring for ourselves now, and tending to our inner child, we can help heal the wounds of the past, grow into our own strength and worthiness, and focus on being our best selves today. Because each and every one of us has always been worth it. And, one of the best things about being an adult is now I can take control of my own hopes and wishes..... and build my fortitude so I can journey towards them!

Animals are another favourite because they live in the moment! Each day is newly gifted. Each new smell is something to be investigated with intense curiosity. Time spent basking in the sun is a revelation, and playfulness is inherent.

Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart. A. A. Milne. Circle of Daydreams.

Animals are simple, and love unconditionally. Happiness is a bowl of good food, somewhere nice to curl up, and some love and attention. If only I could live my life as simply and happily as this!

Cute animal images also just plain old make me feel good..... and that's the aim of this site too!

So, if you browse around here a bit (as I hope you will), you'll find some beautiful imagery of children and animals.

I hope they make you feel brighter and bring a smile to your face.... as they do me!
